With the relaxation of the lockdown and the ability to be able to offer our campsite to you, there are some changes that we have to put in place. These are, of course, to ensure everyone who comes to stay at Dewflock has a fun and, as far as possible, a safe stay.
We are taking the risk very seriously and have implemented some processes for us to work with.
Firstly, we are offering just two days a week for arrivals (Monday and Friday) meaning a longer minimum stay. This is to reduce the constant changing of guests thus reducing the comings and goings. In return, we will be able to spend more time ensuring thorough cleaning processes become the priority.
All furnished tents will now have their own kitchen utensils supplied with the tent. They are to be kept for the use of the designated tent and washed by you as and when used. The field kitchen has washing up facilities but we will also put out a table so you can fill and move away if necessary. On leaving, all items will be boiled washed and prepared for the next guests.
We would ask all unfurnished bell tent guests to bring their own cooking and eating items.
In the past, we have offered Fridge space but again, due to the nature of the virus, we would recommend all pitches to bring cool boxes to use and keep in the bells or huts. A freezer will be available to put ice blocks in the field kitchen.
Our Pig Shed will not be available to use. We will put games in an open sided barn so table tennis, table football and Wifi will still be accessible. Bales for climbing over will still be put out in the field but parents to supervise, social distancing with the children.
All facilities will have access to sanitising gel dispensers which we will openly encourage the use of both in person and with notices.
The Mini Landies for small children will still come and play but only for one child at a time and of an age, where the driver can cope with steering and working a pedal. Staff will wear masks and wipe the Landies down after each go.
Bacon rolls will be delivered to the tents as always.
We appreciate, with pubs ,bars and restaurants still likely to be closed, we will offer some light snacks as well as inviting other style caters onto site. This is something we are currently undertaking.
Please remember all pitches have their own fire pits so BBQing is the norm. Supermarkets are all operating as normal, if not with slightly reduced hours, and all five main supermarkets are easily accessible from the farm. |
