	Our Farm
	Dewflock is working family farm and is predominately livestock with a small amount of arable. As such, we only open our farm for camping for just a few weeks a year, usually in July/August. The 150 acres of Dorset Downland supports a flock of pure breed Poll Dorset breeding ewes, a herd of Pedigree Hereford cattle and a small drift of rare breed pigs as well as the usual collection of farmyard animals – chickens, dogs, cats and ponies. We also own some donkeys (you will hear them before you see them! ) and a tribe of goats. Dewflock Farm is ideally placed to offer families a chance to explore the Dorset countryside and the Jurassic Coast whilst having a base that offers a safe and interesting environment. With cattle and sheep in neighbouring fields and the farm orphan lambs on the loose, Dewflock Farm is very much about offering a bit of luxury whilst enjoying the outdoor lifestyle. Location Dewflock Farm is really well located for holidaymakers wanting to explore Dorset. Dorchester, the County Town, is only a 5 minute drive away and you will find shops, restaurants, bars, cinemas and museums. The nearest supermarket is just two minutes drive away. Weymouth is 7 miles away accessed by the new bypass road. It is a typical seaside town with a wonderful sandy beach, very popular with families. There are also some really lovely beaches a bit more hidden such as Ringstead and Lulworth. These are all worth finding and exploring. If you have any questions just ask us! With bus stops and bike routes 10 minutes walk from the camping fields, it is easy to get out and about with or without a car.
